What an amazing weekend! I have just returned from Liverpool after enjoying a truly memorable reunion. A group of 30+ past pupils and staff from St Vincent spent the afternoon of Saturday 20th May at St V's revitalising friendships and catching up on all the latest news, and remembering old news! Members of school staff team played host and provided us with a mouth-watering buffet, and facilitating guided tours of the school. From the SVOPA: our warmest thanks for making the visit possible and so memorable.

As usual we used the opportunity of being together to hold the annual general meeting of the association. I will post a complete list of your new committee along with the minutes when they are printed. Importantly, during the meeting we announced the "Paul Otten" award which we have asked school to award to a pupil showing "determination" We hope you agree this is a fitting tribute to Paul.

As per last year we spent the evening at the Thistle hotel in the centre of Liverpool. An evening of fine music (courtesy of Phil Longworth, Jules Turner, Pat & Jules Rodaway & Joe Lambton - thanks guys), fine food, and absolutely the finest company anyone could wish for.
